  • summer. summer. summer. summer...

all i can think about.  frolicking and playing in the sun.  sunbathing and swimming in the ocean.  hope i get to do all these things.  went for a swim last night.  so refreshing to feel myself gliding in water, half turquoise half blue, did a little handstand with some help :)

been dling pirated software with help from youtube.  no fair that all the keygens i've found are for windows!  having a mac was so great up until this point.  i WILL figure this out.  grrr

  • i've got to celebrate you baby, i've got to treat you like i should

being in transition is fun, at least while i can financially...

instead of taking another job i am not that thrilled about, i'm using my time to study, and figure out what i want to do for the long haul.  the dreaded 'career' word comes in.

i got MAMP working on my computer yesterday!  that was kinda exciting in a nerdy way.  for those that don't know, it stands for Mac, apache, mysql, and PHP, and turns your computer into a server capable of building dynamic websites with backend database support.  :)  i haven't really decided what i want to do with all this power yet.  so far, just spent a lot of time reading random tutorials like CSS zen garden or ones for class :(

all this of course reminds me that this website is a piece of crap and i should do something about that... but really i never got a hold of tinkering with xanga.  something with having to choose colors that go together, that reminds me of why i never had coordinated outfits like in hs and still wear sweats to work sometimes.  0_o

  • Goodbye Norma Jean
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
    While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on the treadmill
And they made you change your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
    When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
    Your legend ever did

    -EJ
